We rigorously screen suppliers, and then follow with extensive testing of the raw material per strict GMP guidelines to ensure the ingredients meet our high quality standards before they are used in our products.

Our quality control team and laboratory ensure every product is manufactured under strict GMP guidelines and use established analytical assessment techniques for testing. These include botany, morphology, microscopy, high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry (LC-MS), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) for heavy metals testing, spectrophotometric methods (UV-Vis, FTIR), testing for microbial contamination, and other standard scientific methods.

We do much of our own manufacturing at our facility in Scotts Valley, California. We utilize a third-party certifying body to provide assurance that our products are manufactured under strict GMP conditions to ensure that they are safe, effective, and compliant with FDA regulations. We also engage with third-party manufacturers under strict GMP guidelines, using robust Supplier Quality Management programs, to closely monitor products that are manufactured for us.

Many vitamins or minerals can provide additional support beyond their established biological role when taken at higher levels. If we include a nutrient in our formulation at more than 100 percent of the Daily Value, it is because our team of scientists, nutritionists, and herbal experts has extensively reviewed clinical studies that support additional benefits at this increased amount. In addition, there is an established tolerable upper limit for nutrients that have Daily Values. Your well-being is our utmost priority, and we recognize the concern that allergens present. We use FDA-compliant allergen labeling, which identifies eight major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. We disclose any warnings relating to allergen exposure beneath the supplement facts in the ingredients listing on the product label.
