When considering a supplement for your child, please refer to and comply with the label instructions for any age restrictions, allergens, or contraindications. We do much of our own manufacturing at our facility in Scotts Valley, California. We utilize a third-party certifying body to provide assurance that our products are manufactured under strict GMP conditions to ensure that they are safe, effective, and compliant with FDA regulations. We also engage with third-party manufacturers under strict GMP guidelines, using robust Supplier Quality Management programs, to closely monitor products that are manufactured for us.

We source botanical powders, extracts, and other raw materials from all around the world, based on the highest quality and best value available. We rigorously screen suppliers, and then follow with extensive testing of the raw material per strict GMP guidelines to ensure the ingredients meet our high quality standards before they are used in our products.

Many vitamins or minerals can provide additional support beyond their established biological role when taken at higher levels. If we include a nutrient in our formulation at more than 100 percent of the Daily Value, it is because our team of scientists, nutritionists, and herbal experts has extensively reviewed clinical studies that support additional benefits at this increased amount. In addition, there is an established tolerable upper limit for nutrients that have Daily Values. This means our products are extensively researched to determine not just the minimum level your body requires, or the maximum you could consume—but the ideal amount for you at this stage of life and for the particular health goal you wish to address.*

Our quality control team and laboratory ensure every product is manufactured under strict GMP guidelines and use established analytical assessment techniques for testing. These include botany, morphology, microscopy, high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry (LC-MS), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) for heavy metals testing, spectrophotometric methods (UV-Vis, FTIR), testing for microbial contamination, and other standard scientific methods.

Your well-being is our utmost priority, and we recognize the concern that allergens present. We use FDA-compliant allergen labeling, which identifies eight major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. We disclose any warnings relating to allergen exposure beneath the supplement facts in the ingredients listing on the product label. 

We also always recommend that you check each individual product for any allergen concerns and also discuss them with your health care professional to determine which products are appropriate for your nutritional needs.

The FDA regulates the production, testing, and labeling of all dietary supplements via established regulations that have been in effect for many years. That is why our products and our labeling are FDA-compliant, but the FDA does not pre-approve dietary supplements in terms of quality, safety, or efficacy. This responsibility lies with us, the manufacturer.
